Yambor and Associates for 35 years retiring in 2020. Michael enjoyed spending time in the Copper Country as a child which continued throughout his life. The couple had resided in Detroit, Berkley, MI, and Farmington Hill, MI and enjoyed spending as much time as he could at his favorite place on Fisherman’s Lane. On September 11, 1971, he was united in marriage to the former Deborah Kahn. He then attended Wayne State University before graduating from Michigan Technological University with a degree in Forestry. Michael was raised in Detroit and was a graduate of Cass Tech High School with the class of 1968. He was born on December 20, 1949, in Highland Park, Michigan, a son of the late Steven and Elmi (Kinnunen) Yambor. Yambor, 73, a resident of Fisherman’s Lane, Chassell, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023, at his home following a battle with cancer.
